Carlson is probably their best defenseman, but niskinen is good. Nonetheless they are a great team with an abundance of offense.

Ovie deserves lot of credit too. A lot of his points came early in the season, but hes still producing at a great rate.

I find Ovi got a rep for big hits and goals and thats it, but the last few seasons it's the little things that I've noticed he's doing more. This year his defensive side has really stepped it up. I still want to see the Ovi who is the best player in the world back. I'd love to seem him back at a 50+ goal pace. We know he has the talent for it.

Well, at least HALF of the overpaid D-men the Caps pillaged from the Pens a few years back has proven to bear worth...

Still, the Caps aren't so bad this season... not nearly as bad as anticipated... something tells me they'll figure out a way to be in the hunt.
